Overall, this was a below-average experience at Ben & Jerry’s near Playhouse Square. We were second in line after a Sunday matinee of The Lion King, yet one employee remained in the back for awhile instead of helping customers. Even a simple, “I’ll be right with you,” would have gone a long way. The other employee was left to handle both scooping ice cream and running the register, which slowed service considerably. Unfortunately, neither employee smiled, greeted us, or seemed particularly welcoming. The interaction felt impersonal, with little effort made to provide friendly customer service. The pricing was also disappointing. A regular (smallest size) ice cream cone cost $6.75, which feels excessive. This is especially true considering it’s more expensive than Mitchell’s, where the ice cream is, in my opinion, higher quality. A plain waffle cone was an additional $1.90, and the sugar cones are hidden away, which I think is meant to encourage spending extra on the different styles of waffle cones. On the positive side, the menu offers a great variety of flavors, the shop was mostly clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. While the ice cream was tasty, it didn’t stand out com

Love the playhouse square and Cuyahoga valley cow murals! The selection is a bit more limited than other ben and Jerry’s locations, but it’s still nice to have any kind of ice cream at PSQ. They tend to run out of flavors and equipment and supply issues frequently limit the menu to just scoops of ice cream (no sundaes or milkshakes), so it’s good to go in with low expectations and a few backups in case your first choice is unavailable.

The usual ice cream place. They have specialty flavor ice cream. Their waffle cone is made fresh. Seatings are ok. Mostly to go. Decoration in the store looks cute.

I stopped by Ben & Jerry’s in downtown Cleveland and it was a really enjoyable treat. The banana split was fresh and perfectly put together, with generous scoops and just the right balance of toppings. The brownie was rich, fudgy, and paired amazingly well with the ice cream. Everything tasted high quality and indulgent without being overwhelming. It’s a great spot to satisfy a sweet craving while exploring downtown.

It's great having another Ben & Jerrys in cleveland and it's great. With quick service and plenty of options they have all of your main staples you find at the grocery store but served at a much nicer temperature. There is also skoop shop exclusive flavors that you will not find at your local grocery stores. You will also find sundaes and drinks. It's a great time. It's also super close to the theaters at playhouse square. I just wish it had more seating there is only 5 table in the place and especially being in dow town cleveland no one wants to stand outside to eat ice cream for half of the year.
